Field Day 2012 tickets on sale today
Field Day tickets will be available today from midday from the Field Day website. The first release tickets will be on sale until 5pm October 13, 2011 at a cost of $135. After that the final release tickets will go on sale at a cost of $142. The “More Expensive Ticket” will cost $237. Continue reading
Field Day 2012 is happening and here’s the line up
After much speculation (ok maybe just from us) that there would be no Field Day 2012, today it was revealed that there will be a Field Day 2012 and the line up was announced. It seems like a strange marketing ploy to announce the line up just hours before the much hyped Big Day Out 2012 line up is due to be announced. Surely this is bad marketing since the Field Day line up announcement will be swamped and lost in all the Big Day Out discussion?? Or maybe this is smart marketing? With so many people hitting up music websites to view the BDO line up, prehaps the hope is that Field Day will get extra coverage?! I think I’m analysing this too much. Continue reading

Review of Field Day 2011
It’s been many years since we’ve headed down to the Domain on NY day. Field Day like many of the dance festivals is trapped back somewhere in our early 20s. It was the Rapture, one of our favourite indie bands, and the opportunity to see hip hop legends Public Enemy that got us back to Field Day. And boy was it good to go back. Continue reading
