You too could get messy at Falls Festival this year like these dudes
So as you are all probably aware… the line up for Falls Festival got leaked last week as a result of some awesome detective work and a sloppy web developer (fired yet?).
For all those that have struggled to keep up with the happenings, here is the line up announced so far:
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Moby, Hilltop Hoods, Grizzly Bear, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, The Temper Trap, Xavier Rudd, Emiliana Torrini, Little Birdy, Midnight Juggernauts, Yves Klein Blue, Andrew Bird, Lyrics Born, Chairlift, King Khan and the Shrines, Editors, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Kaki King, Sarah Blasko, Art vs Science, DJ Yoda, Liam Finn, Lisa Mitchell, Major Lazer, Patrick Watson, Seasick Steve, The View, Urthboy, White Rabbits, Future of the Left, KillaQueenz (Vic only), The John Steel Singers.

Well… tickets traditionally for Falls Festival are difficult to get as demand > supply (by about 10,000,000). There’s a ballot and to have a chance of getting tickets you need to enter it. The ballot is open NOW.
Important dates:
AUGUST 24: Ballot closes (ON MONDAY… hurry!!)
SEPT 1: Ballot winners are notified and given the option to purchase up to 4 tickets.
SEPT 9: General public tickets go on sale.
Falls Festival is held from Dec 29th to Jan 1st in both Lorne, Vic and Marion Bay, Tassie. Both locations are pretty. Picturesque even. Tickets include camping. No word on how much tickets will be this year, last year a 3 day ticket for Lorne cost $289.
