Big Day Out
The Festival Ladies here with the big scoops for the upcoming summer festival season. Here are the rumours we’ve been hearing:
- Big Day Out rumours – Blink 182, Weezer, Placebo
- Blink 182 and Weezer perform joint sideshows!!!!!
- The Great Escape festival is resurrected and will be back at Easter with the Hold Steady and The Spooky Men’s Chorale on rotation for 3 days straight
- Bloodhound Gang playing an exclusive show for MrsPop’s birthday
- Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney and Hole playing at a grunge extravaganza
- Faith No More touring late January (and performing at Soundwave)
- The Veronicas die in wierd cult suicide pact
- NIN farewell tour
- Passion Pit don’t tour at all (disappointing millions of fans)
- And finally, Coachella the Australian version confirmed for summer 2009/2010, location likely to be in Gippsland (Victoria), date TBA. The USA version postponed indefinitely.
